I have many fond memories of the St Janschool where I was a student 1954 -1960. The overnight excursion was the best and we sang on national TV "Daar was laats een meisje loos" However I do remember in first class? 5 of my classmates and me were too talkative and the teacher covered our mouths with paper dipped in glue and then marched us down the stairs to see the Principal-I think her name was Zuster Wilhelmina. I don't know who was more embarassed us kids, or the Principal!
