I cannot remember the exact dates that I attended the Leyenschewegschool. Howver, when we immigrated to Canda in 1954 I was a sudent there. I have a photograph of off all the classes, bur it is in bad shape now. I have observed the same photo on the Schoolbank website. I was very excited to enter the website and get more information about the Leyenschewegschool and de Dr. W. van Everdingenschool that I attended earlier. I understand the scxhool no longer exists. I remember a few studets such as Wim van Loo and a few others, but the names I have forgotten. If a photo exists of the Leyenschewegschool is still in print, will you please advise me. Piet Paar was hoofd van de school.
Piet Paar was hoofd van de school. Bijzonder leraar vond ik de heer Bos, nederlandse taal en las geweldig voor. Onze klas bestond hoofdzakelijk in de vierde uit jongens. We waren maar met 4 meisjes. Joke Lieberwerth was een klasgenoot die ook later in het Antonius ziekenhuis gewerkt heeft gelijk met mij.Een levendige herinnering heb ik overgehoudenaan een schoolreisje. We zijn toen 's nachts ontsnapt en hebben een wandeling op de heide gemaakt. We werden echter terug gehaald en kregen flink op ons duvel.
