    Hated it.

Hated it...and the pervert brother with the glasses and rotten teeth, who always called you to the front of the class so he could put his hand up your shorts. Other than him though I remember brother Anschar..I think...the one who could kick a ball over the tower. He was great. I was Number 420. I remember Paul Koppens, I beat him once at chess, more luck than skill...but he took it badly. A boy called Bart who was good at football and playing the trumpet, which he did at night before we went to sleep sometimes. Rik van Berkel who with his family took me with them on a short holiday. Henk Schaatsberg who was an amazing singer. And knocked himself out when he ran into the glass doors of the church. A boy whose name i forget but was the most amazing artist.

I was at the Marconi laan for about two years 1970 to 1972.

I was at the Marconi laan for about two years 1970 to 1972. Until I ran away to england and never came back to Holland until many years later. I remember mainly my friend Rinus De Bruine, would love to hear from him or anyone that remembers me. I do remember a lot of the girls were very pretty ;o) Only teachers I remember is Martensen...french...who thought he was the dogs balls with his bright orange Opel Manta....we all stood round admiring it the first day he brought it to school. And he made us learn that bloody french song when it won the euro vision contest. A black teacher, cannot remember his name, but he was just a bully. Wiskunde...van Loo always used to throw chalk or board rubbers at us, luckily missed most of the time. The deaf history teacher, I always got 10's from him but cannot remember his name. But we used to whisper so he would turn his hearing aid up.....then start talking loudly & blow his ears off. And finally the old woman at the Iepenlaan who taught english, she hated me because I always used to correct her, as my english was better than hers...lol.
