haHA those were wild times! Here are some names: Jan de Moor (used to go to his home in Sally's Alley - next to Wanderers when we skipped classes and drink his Dad's duty free diplomatic allowance of Oranjeboom beer), Richard Colender (hotwired his Mum's car during their overseas trip!), Sandra Tew (she was nice but I sadly never took advantage of her!), Deborah Witkin (bit of a come-on girl, did she become an actress??), Richard Jamieson (wanted to become a horticulturist...), Paul xnxnxn (badly crashed his motorbike on the way back from Durban, but survived), Dale Foresman (Dad ex KLM, owner of Kyalami Ranch Hotel next to Grand Prix track), Derek Tunmer (sometimes came to school in this huge Daimler like the one you see QEII and hubby in, can't remember with or without driver - we used to take it into town when we bunked school and/or classes!)- Aug 2007 update: very sadly I was told a couple of years ago he committed suicide while nipping off home from a dinner party. Poor guy, our thoughts go to his (remaining) family. His brother Guy also died in a motor cycle accident a few years prior. Ms Centner for English and French Mr Khoury for Maths, Algebra etc Mr Glass for Mercantile Law/knowledge, whatever the hell it was called Mrs ...?.. cute cute rich lady, teaching us Geography IJ Johnson also took us for one or two subjects but I forget which! Ian Quirk... There's more in the recesses of the mind which will come out eventually!! There was James Wilson (?) who used to sometimes travel with me back from school to Lombardy East... Red haired guy originally from Rhodesia, I think his parents were still there at that time. With all the screwing around that year I'm pleased to report that out of 60+ or so I was amongst the only four that matriculated with University entrance that year. I don't think IJ Johnson was overly pleased! Anyone out there from those days, write to me at (and I have to spell the address phonetically as the guys running this site, even though I pay them appear a little anal in letting through an email address): eeriksson1 apestaart bigpond d o t com d o t au (updated: `15 Dec 2014 )
